José Rogelio Suárez Ramírez,[1] more commonly known simply as Rogelio Suárez, is a Mexican singer, actor and dancer. He is also known for being a coach on the fifth season of the YouTube show La Más Draga.
Remembered for characters like Chakas in "Hoy no me puedo levantar", Rogelio Suárez has fully dedicated to the art of theater since finishing high school. The actor also recalls that his first approach to theater — and when he knew that he wanted to dedicate himself to that — happened at the age of 17 when a teacher punished him by sending him to the theater workshop.
Since then he has been forging his career, participating in works such as "El beso de la mujer araña", "La Jaula de las Locas" and "Mentidrags", a drag version of the musical "Mentiras". With this latest project, the actor notably received a lot of criticism from the drag community, with claims that it wasn't appropriate for someone that doesn't do drag to perform as a drag character.
However, Rogelio has mentioned that he also considers himself somewhat of a drag performer, working for more than four years in La Jaula de las Locas and having his very first character performed in high school be a drag queen. Additionally, he remarks the difference between a drag show and a drag theater show, with the latter involving the standard characteristic discipline of the theater.[4]

According to Hidden Mistake, Rogelio was originally meant to be part of the main panel of judges for La Más Draga (Season 5). However, scheduling conflicts forced him to only be involved as a coach during the mini challenges.[7]
