- Counting LaLaPaRuza lip-syncs, Salina also won her lip-sync against Luxx Noir London.
- On March 17, 2022, Kornbread "The Snack" Jeté confirmed via her X account that she won't be returning to compete on this season, nor any All Stars (at this time). She further clarified that this wasn't her decision.[6][7]
- On June 20, 2022, the RuPaul's Drag Race YouTube channel uploaded an unlisted video with appearances from RuPaul, Michelle Visage, Carson Kressley, Ross Matthews, Angeria Paris VanMicheals, Bosco, Kerri Colby, and Willow Pill. This video was intended to spark interest for the Television Academy for the next award cycle, but it unintentionally gave a peek into Season 15 as the judges panel and main stage were shown to have been updated.
- When the cast was revealed, it was also announced that Season 15's Grand Prize would increase from $150,000 to $200,000.
- This season airs on MTV and marks the second time RuPaul's Drag Race has changed networks.
- The last time the series changed networks was Season 9, going from Logo TV to VH1.
- From episode 3 onwards, the season had its episodes shortened from 90 to 60 minutes (from one hour to 40 minutes without ads). The reason for the shortened episodes is "to lean into the opportunity to build a destination night by using the existing hit franchise to launch a new series like The Real Friends of WeHo".[8] The change was negatively received by the community, and a petition for the return of 90 minutes episodes and cancelation of The Real Friends of WeHo, show with Todrick Hall and Brad Goreski, quickly reached thousands of signatures.[9]
- The last time the series had featured 60 minutes episodes was on US All Stars 3. If only counting regular seasons, Season 9 was the last season with this episode length.
- It was later announced on February 9, 2023 that the episodes would return to their original runtime of 90 minutes starting on March 10 with the eleventh episode onwards.[10]
- On July 27, 2023, World of Wonder announced that all unreleased 90-minute episodes of Season 15 would release on Paramount+ in the US and WOWPresents+ internationally on August 9, 2023. [11]
