The third season of RuPaul's Drag Race Down Under was officially announced on October 24, 2022 by World of Wonder via their Instagram account.^[1] Casting opened that same day, with a deadline of November 13, 2022.^[1]

The cast was revealed on June 28, 2023.^[2]

On September 15, 2023, Isis Avis Loren was crowned the winner of Season 3, winning the title of Down Under's Next Drag Superstar, a crown and scepter from Amped Accessories, a year's supply of Anastasia Beverly Hills Cosmetics and $50,000. Gabriella Labucci placed as Runner-Up.

Trivia[]

Down Under Season 3 is the first season where no one associated with House o f Drag wins a sea son or another title as Miss Congeniality.
Flor is the third contestant in a row that was previously on a season of House of Drag, following Elektra Shock from Season 1 and Spankie Jackzon from Season 2.
- Coincidentally, they were all contestants on the second season and all won at least one main challenge.
Multiple contestants have revealed on social media that they were told the performance outfits from Episode 1, were for a Mardi Gras-themed runway. ^[3]
Season 3 is the first season of RuPaul's Drag Race Down Under...
- ...to have a contestant faint onstage.
- ...to have a lip sync delayed to the following episode, on Episode 2.
- ...to have a solo placement for each contestant
- ...to have a contestant never place below safe for the first time in RuPaul's Drag Race Down Under.
- ...to not have a reading challenge winner
Coincidentally, in episode 2, all contestants who chose the same character, were either in the top or in the bottom.
Out of all of the RuPaul's Drag Race Down Under queens to get the most vote in the Who Should Go Home Tonight? (Elektra Shock, Beverly Kills and Flor), Flor is the only queen to not be up for elimination that same episode.
