The fourth season of RuPaul's Drag Race UK was officially announced on October 27, 2021 by BBC Three via Instagram.[3] Casting opened that same day, with deadline of November 10, 2021.[3]
The cast was revealed on September 7, 2022.[1] The promo theme was "Hometown".[4]
The second episode of the season was dedicated to Cherry Valentine, who passed away on September 18 2022 and was announced on September 23 2022.[5]
On November 24, 2022, Danny Beard was crowned The UK's Next Drag Superstar, making herstory as the first bearded queen to win Drag Race. Cheddar Gorgeous placed as the Runner-Up.
