RuPaul's Drag Race Untucked (or simply Untucked), stylized as RuPaul's Drag Race: Untucked! is a companion series that airs immediately after the main series. The focus of the series is footage of the queens' conversations while backstage during the judges' post-critique deliberations. Sometimes there is also bonus footage from the workroom or runway.

In Under the Hood, the queens would sit in the green room, also called Illusions Lounge. From the 2nd to the 6th seasons, the queens would sit within two separate backstage rooms, originally sponsored by Interior Illusions. However, this was swapped to a lower-budget "backstage" room next to the Werk Room on Season 7, sponsored by Squarespace. This sponsor was later swapped to Hamburger Mary's in Season 9. On the tenth season, Untucked was changed once again, to a more higher-budget set, sponsored by Objects Furniture. From All Stars 5 onwards, Untucked takes place in the Werk Room.

Untucked Lounges[]

Season Name Description
S1 Interior Illusions Lounge They had a Gold Bar and a Silver Interior Lounge. The Silver Interior Lounge was where the queens first went after they were critiqued or safe. After they talked, Ru would tell them to head to the Gold Bar, where the queens opened pink boxes filled with surprises.

In Season 6, the Untucked Lounges were sponsored by Absolut Vodka.

S7 Backstage This was the first season to not have the Interior Illusions Lounge, and also the first season where Untucked was not aired on television or Logo's website. In addition, Untucked was moved to the back of the stage, but queens still received alcohol and water. The Lounge also added makeup vanities, where queens either fixed up their makeup or practiced their lip sync songs. The queens also had a lot of space to move around.
S8 The Untucked Lounge was very dull. The couches were brown and they had a few chairs.
AS2 The Werk Room The Untucked took place in The Werk Room. The lights were dimmed and the queens decided who they were going to eliminate. Most queens also discussed with the bottom queens as to why they should stay.
S9 Backstage The Untucked Lounge is more vibrant this season, containing a long white couch with purple circular pillows. They also have circle black seats and large circle lights hanging from the ceiling. This is also the first season to receive food on the Untucked episodes.
AS3 The Werk Room The Untucked took place in The Werk Room. The lights were dimmed and the queens decided who they were going to eliminate. Most queens also discussed with the bottom queens as to why they should stay.
S10 Backstage The Untucked Lounge remains the same as in the previous season. Scenery from challenges are stored at the sides of the room.
AS4 The Werk Room The Untucked took place in The Werk Room. The lights were dimmed and the queens decided who they were going to eliminate. Most queens also discussed with the bottom queens as to why they should stay.
S11 Backstage The Untucked Lounge remains the same as in the previous season. Scenery from challenges are stored at the sides of the room.
UK1 The Werk Room The Untucked took place in The Werk Room after On-stage critiques. The lights were dimmed while the judges deliberated the winner and the bottom two queens. Most queens also discussed who they think were the top and bottom queens while sharing their joys and sorrows.
S12 Backstage The Untucked Lounge remains the same as in the previous season. Scenery from challenges are stored at the sides of the room.
AS5 The Werk Room The Untucked took place in The Werk Room. The lights were dimmed and the queens discussed the placement and judgings of the episode.

In All Stars, the queens also decided who they were going to eliminate. Most queens also discussed with the bottom queens as to why they should stay.
