Different users have access to different functions of the site. While anyone can do most things on the site, including reading and editing, administrators have a few additional functions.

  • Deleting and restoring pages and page histories, including uploaded files.
  • Locking (protecting) a page so it can not be edited or renamed by users without admin rights.
  • Blocking IP addresses or user names from editing.
  • Editing the interface by changing system messages and skins.

A bureaucrat can make other users into bureaucrats or administrators on their own wiki.

Fandom Staff members have full access to all of Fandom. They will be shown in Special:Listusers/staff on any wiki. Please use Special:Contact to contact Fandom Staff if you need their assistance.

Welcome Home
My name is Orly and I have been contributing the Drag Race wiki since 2018 and was promoted to administrator 2019. I love the art of drag and I am continuously enammered by the artists featured on the various drag competitions around the world. Not only that, but I love to see local artists perform and express themselves through their art.

I am nearing the end of my time at college, so my activity recently has been very scarce as I do not have a lot of time to contribute to the wiki as much as I once did (RIP my #1 spot). When I was hyper-focused on the wiki I made it my goal to make the wiki feel concise through out the pages. One of my favorite aspects of the wiki is the seasons' look books where we can see the amazing (or not) looks featured on the shows.

Beyond the wiki I am a very analytical and administrative person; I love order even though my room is chaos. I am studying front-end user experience, design, and engineering so editing the wiki always brings me joy even when I'm in an editing war with someone that doesn't realize the colors need to be concise :)

I'm not as available as I used to be, but if you need to message me reach out on my message wall.

Hoi Hoi!
I'm Bart, one of the bureaucrats on the wiki. This means that you can contact me with any and all problems you might run into. Please contact me if you need any help whatsoever on this wiki, whether it's editing, coding, discussions or something else. I specifically oversee all things Drag Race Holland, Drag Race Belgique, Drag Race Germany, Drag Race Sverige and the Make Up Your Mind Franchise. I also run our official Instagram and Twitter.

Outside of this Wiki, I'm a Sociology student, parttime theme park employee and a parttime filmmaker. Besides being an avid Drag Race fan, I also take a liking to Harry Potter, Disney, Marvel, DC and Eurovision. Some of my other interests include filmmaking, graphic design, reading and writing.

I'm a little busy as of late so you might see me edit a bit less but I'm still very active every day. If you need anything or just wanna chat, you can message me at my Message Wall.

Hello divas!
Bart is my mortal enemy, that's all you need to know.

Stan Lala Ri.

Eyo!
I'm Nana Lostris to all these baby staffers. As the Fandom assigned Wiki Representative of this community, I'm the woman to turn to whenever you encounter anything off with the platform or want to find out more about anything relating to Fandom. You will most commonly find me tweaking the wiki's code, assisting the admins in whatever project they'd like to undertake, and sending out general announcements about the latest news on Fandom.

I show up to another job offline, and I picked up Roller Derby as a hobby. Nothing can go wrong there, obviously!

If you need anything or just wanna chat, you can reach me on my Message Wall.

hi gay people
I'm sastei05, but you can call me Sam. I have been involved in the wiki since 2019 and have done my best to help the wiki grow in terms of content and quality. I do most of the Dragula, Queen of the Universe and Call me Mother stuff as well as trivia, coloring seasons, and updates to ongoing seasons. I'm consistently active and available if you need any help.

Off of this wiki I love art, Pokémon, Steven Universe, American Dad, musical theater, and circus. I have been training in aerial arts for over 9 years.

I am currently a dual major theatre and history student in college so I am somewhat busy but still do my best to be available at any point.

If you need anything or just wanna chat you can message me at my Message Wall.

Hey Kitty Girl!
I'm Sym0n1203, but you can call me Simon. I am one of the admins on the wiki, meaning that you can contact me with any and all questions regarding the editing side of the Wiki. Although I'm active Wiki-wide, I specifically oversee all things Drag Race Italia, Non Sono Una Signora, Queen of Drags and Versus Drag Queens. I also oversee the research, styling and managing of references, but you may contact me for any doubts or concerns you might have.

Outside of this Wiki, I'm a psychology student. Besides being an avid Drag Race fan, other fandoms I am part of include: Harry Potter, Disney, Steven Universe, My Hero Academia and Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children, among others. Some of my other interests include linguistics, informatics and theatre.

If you need anything or just wanna chat you can message me at my Message Wall.

Oi, meus amores!
I'm Rafe, one of the administrators of the Wiki.

My areas of expertise are information research, screenshots, and photos.

I started watching Drag Race in February 2017 and the first-ever season I watched was Season 1, while All Stars 3 was the first I watched live.

If you happen to have any questions, hit me up on my Message Wall or tag me in the comments. If I don't answer, your message was most likely forwarded to the Wiki Staff channel or the issue was already resolved (or maybe it's beyond my abilities), but I promise to take a look at your comment either way 😁.

Hi bestie!
I'm Griffh13, but you can call me Griffin or Griff. I am one of the administrators and one of the discussion moderators on the wiki, meaning that if you have any issues regarding the discussion tab or interacting with other users on the wiki, I am one of your best sources of action. I'm the Canadian diva of the staff team, so you'll likely see me editing something related to CDR! (or just being around, who knows!)

Contact me if you need any assistance related to any issue on the discussion tab, and for editing - feel free to ask me questions about all things Canada's Drag Race, as well as assistance for setting up fan race blog pages (or other source coding stuff).

When I'm not handling the discussion tab, I'm a full-time university student studying a bachelor's of music degree, and in my spare time you might have seen the name Dee Pression pop up around the fan race community - for both competing and hosting shows.

My favourite musician is Kylie Minogue (if you haven't listened to her entire discography you are severely missing out), and my all-time favourite album is Light Years by Kylie Minogue.
am I a little obsessed... maybe?

Some of my other interests include creative writing, music and composition, as well as all things graphic design - I write my own original music, create original Drag Race shows, and spend more time in Photoshop than I probably should.

If you need a safe space to talk about anything, have a question to ask, or just want to have a chat - feel free to leave a message on my Message Wall.

Hey Luvlies 💋
My username is Louisluv, but you can just call me Louis or my drag name Contessa! I am a thread moderator/administrator here on the RPDR fandom, meaning I help out with the discussions section of the website and keep everyone in check, as well as looking over the whole website. I'm pretty active on the fandom so any questions or help needed please don't be afraid to message me on my message wall or dm me on discord which is linked in my fandom bio!

In my spare time I talk with my friends on discord, play video games, watch things like tiktok and twitch, and scroll through social media... fun right!? I recently left school, now trying to find out what I want to do with my life. I've always had interest in things like programming, hence why I love coding on this wiki, and anything creative, so maybe drag? Please welcome to the stage... Count Contessa!

In terms of taste levels:

On the fandom side of things, I've been on here since the middle of 2020 but only made an account and did anything till December 2020. I started off by using the blog posts to create pages for my fictional show and then eventually went onto create a well-known interactive show in the discussions tab called Count Contessa's Drag Race. I love RPDR and other drag shows like Dragula, so this wiki has become a place I come back to a lot and enjoy spending my time on. Despite the toxicity on the fandom and on discord sometimes, the good outweighs the bad for me. Now we're here, me becoming a moderator! I'm very excited to be a part of the team 1 and a half years later since creating my account and hope to be of great service to the fandom as a whole.

As I said, I'm active most days on the fandom and I am more than happy to help anyone out or be there to chat with, just send me a message on my Message Wall.

Hey Babe!
I'm ILoveHarley, but you can call me Harley (with an L). I am one of the administrators on the wiki, so if you have any doubt about anything, feel more than free to contact me. I try to help with articles from every franchise and version, though you could say I specifically work with La Más Draga, Drag Race Mexico, Drag Race España and Drag Race Philippines.

Outside of this Wiki... I am in a lot of other Wikis. I'd list them here but I realized some of them are quite cringy. Let's just say some of my interests include dancing, visual novels and gaming (you can most definitely find me on plenty of other Wikis with that information. Bonus points if you find the Wiki I used to admin). I'm also a finance student, but we can ignore that bit.

If you need anything or just wanna chat you can message me at my Message Wall.

h-h-h-hewwo??!!?
I'm Hewwowouwu but you can just call me Cori! I'm one of the Wiki's administrators so if you have questions, comments and/or concerns about anything and everything on the Wiki, I'm sure I'll be able to help! I try my best to contribute to pages from any franchise represented on the Wiki but specifically, you'll see me working on stuff for Drag Race France (and sometimes stuff for Canada's Drag Race and Drag Race Belgique 🤭) as well as Camp Wannakiki (even though I don't keep up with it anymore) and House of Drag. I also do a lot of work for finding and citing sources for information on contestants' pages!

Some of my favourite queens are Kendall Gender, Bob The Drag Queen, Kandy Zyanide, Yuhua Hamasaki, Kita Mean, Cherry Valentine, Kyne, and Moon.

I'm pretty active so if you need any help or just wanna say hi, you can message me on my Message Wall!!

Staff Guidelines

Communities are always changing and evolving, and this one is no exception. Therefore, it shouldn’t come as a surprise that this community’s staff team can be subject to change; staff members can come and go over time. If you’re interested in gaining a staff role in this community, it is important to know that it is not custom to apply for one or ask a current staff member for promotion. Current staff handpicks potential new members every once in a while, either when expansion is needed or a user has displayed extraordinary, consistent work on the wiki. When a new staff member is appointed, they enter a training period of one month to ensure they can be trusted with their newfound power. This training period applies to each level of promotion. Staff members are required to be at least 16 years of age.

Becoming a moderator

It’s important that any moderator should be familiar with the way the wiki works in terms of editing, discussion, images and coding. Ideally, any moderator has been an active contributor for at least one year before their initial promotion and should therefore be familiar with both visual and source editing. They should understand the image and color formats we use. Preferably, any moderator should be able to contribute to the wiki very regularly in case of major announcements or premiers/finales. There are two types of moderators: content moderators and thread moderators.

What can you do as a content moderator?

  • Edit and move fully protected pages.
  • Edit and move fully protected files.
  • Delete and undeleting files and pages.
  • Rollback.
  • Protect and unprotect pages.
  • Patrolling pages if the community has the recent changes patrol feature enabled.

What can’t you do as a content moderator?

  • Block users from editing and other actions.
  • Grant and revoke user rights.
  • Removing and restoring threads and replies by any user.
  • Closing and reopening replies.
  • Manage Discussions categories, and move posts from one category to another.
  • Deleting blog comments.
  • Editing and deleting article comments.
  • Moderating the Discussion feature, if enabled.

What can you do as a thread moderator?

  • Removing and restoring threads and replies by any user.
  • Closing and reopening replies.
  • Manage Discussions categories, and move posts from one category to another.
  • Deleting blog comments.
  • Editing and deleting article comments.
  • Moderating the Discussion feature, if enabled.

What can’t you do as a thread moderator?

  • Block users from editing and other actions.
  • Grant and revoke user rights.
  • Edit and move fully protected pages.
  • Edit and move fully protected files.
  • Delete and undeleting files and pages.
  • Rollback.
  • Protect and unprotect pages.
  • Patrolling pages if the community has the recent changes patrol feature enabled.

Becoming an administrator

So you’re a moderator, condragulations! However, this is not the final step when it comes to staff roles. If you excel at being a moderator, you might be eligible for another promotion! This promotion would make you an administrator. This step includes getting a lot more responsibilities, so it is important that any administrator has served as a moderator for a significant time before getting their promotion.

What can you do as an administrator?

  • Utilize all privileges from both the Content Moderator and Discussions Moderator groups.
  • Block users from editing and other actions.
  • Grant and revoke the Rollback and Discussion Moderator rights.
  • Edit the community’s skin and format.
  • Edit whitelisted MediaWiki pages.

What can’t you do as an administrator?

  • Grant and revoke user rights outside of Discussion moderator.

Becoming a bureaucrat

Bureaucrat is the last step on the ladder in terms of promotions. This promotion is not given very often, as it requires the most responsibilities and skills. Preferably, any Bureaucrat has served as an Administrator for a significant amount of time before getting their promotion.

What can you do as a bureaucrat?

  • Utilize all privileges from both the Content Moderator and Discussions Moderator groups.
  • Utilize all privileges from the Administrator group.
  • Grant and revoke all user rights (except for revoking someone else’s Bureaucrat status).

Abusing your power

Sometimes, staff members can abuse the responsibilities they’re trusted with, and misuse their power. If this happens, they get an official warning from (one of) the community’s bureaucrat(s). If they ignore this warning and continue their problematic behavior, the staff member in question will be stripped of their rights, and in extreme cases, be blocked from the wiki. You’re abusing your power when you’re…

  • Locking pages or threads on versions you prefer.
  • (Temporarily) blocking users without solid reasoning.
  • Acting solo on major situations or changes (running a wiki is a team effort!)
  • Continuously ignoring warnings from other staff members about your behavior.
