Samantha Ballentines is stage name of Francisco José Sánchez Jiménez,[2][3] a drag performer and one of the contestants of the second season of Drag Race España.
Drag Name Origin
Samantha comes from Samantha Jones, a character of 1998 TV series Sex and the City. At first, she didn't have a second name, but people would call her Samantha Fox and other names, so she decided to add a last name. Her boyfriend at the time suggested Samantha J&B, but Samantha rejected the idea. Then, he suggested Ballentine's, since she loved the whiskey brand.[5]

- Samantha Ballentines has the same exact track record as Akashia from RuPaul's Drag Race (Season 1).
- Samantha is the fourth Drag Race contestant to lip-sync in the first three episodes she appeared in, after Akashia on Season 1, BenDeLaCreme on All Stars 3 and Denali on Season 13.
