Santa Lucía is a Mexican drag performer and one of the contestants on the fifth season of La Más Draga.
About
A film student by day and the most macabre drag queen by night, Santa Lucía is well known for her excellent audiovisual works that have made more than one of her colleagues shine in other competitions. However, this witch has her own charms that are very much inspired by horror movies.[3]
Drag Name Origin
Santa Lucía wanted her name to be a dichotomy related to religion, so she decided to combine Santa, which is Spanish for Saint, and Lucía from Lucifer.[4]

Trivia
- Santa Lucía is the drag daughter of Season 3 contestant, Iviza Lioza.[5]
- Santa Lucía and Liza Zan Zuzzi were the only pair of contestants that lipsynced against each other on the auditions of La Más Draga (Season 5) to both be cast for the season.
- Even after she was declared the winner of the lip sync against Deseos Fab, Santa Lucía asked the production team to eliminate her instead. However, they refused and went forward with the original outcome of Deseos being the one eliminated.[6]
- Her promo look for La Más Draga was a remake of the promo look she wore for La Carrera Drag de la CDMX, her very first drag competition, hosted by Paris Bang Bang.[7]
- The drawing that she featured on her La Más A Color runway was made by Vampirella, one of her drag daughters and member of the duo Isirella, who were also part of the auditions for La Más Draga (Season 5) with Santa Lucía.[8]
- The drawing features Santa Lucía and the very first boyfriend she had.[8]
- Santa Lucía is the second contestant from La Más Draga to quit the competition, after Light King.
- Interestingly, both instances happened on the same season.
- Santa Lucía is also the first contestant to remove themselves from the competition at the reunion, as well as the first one to do so as a finalist.
- She revealed that she decided to quit due to feeling mentally unwell about competing in the finale following the amount of hateful messages and death threats that she received during the season.[9]
- With her quitting at the reunion, Santa Lucía became the first contestant with more than one main challenge win on La Más Draga to not compete in the finale of their respective season.
- Between all her looks for the season, Santa Lucía spent approximately MXN $120,000 (USD $6,067).[10]
- For Lo Que Más Amo De México, Santa Lucía had planned to do a look inspired by La Santa Muerte, featuring a giant grave cross made with neon lights.[11]
- When Santa Lucía received the call to be on the season, she was initially pranked by the producers and told that even though she had not been cast, they wanted her to be part of the production team. This was in reference to her being a film student out of drag.[12]
