Shani LaSanta is a Spanish drag performer and one of the contestants on the fourth season of Drag Race España.

Define su drag como ‘flamenco slut’: una fusión de estilos, que muestra el arraigo de su etnia gitana y a la vez introduce el ‘sex appeal’ y todo lo que tiene que ver con el ‘enigma’. Shani LaSanta relata que su principal virtud es cantar: “Canto todo lo que me echen, flamenco, soul o rap”. Se considera la reina indiscutible de la interpretación, porque puede ser cómica pero también puede ser dramática. - Shani's drag sister is Jota Carajota.[1] They both are part of the drag family Sherry Queens, founded in their hometown Jerez de la Frontera.[6]
- Shani participated in the Batallas Drag held at Shantay Party, the official viewing party for Drag Race España Season 2, hosted by Arantxa Castilla-La Mancha, where she ended up being a runner-up to Clover Bish, who would later on get casted on Drag Race España Season 3.[7] Shani competed alongside Drag Race España Season 3 contestants Chanel Anorex[8] and Bestiah[9], fellow Drag Race España Season 4 contestant Mariana Stars, and Regias del Drag España Season 2 runner-up Jeneva Gina.[10]
- Before her run on Drag Race España, Shani served as a hostess for Canada's Drag Race Season 1 winner Priyanka, RuPaul's Drag Race UK vs the World Season 1 contestant Lemon, Canada's Drag Race: Canada vs the World Season 1 contestant Vanity Milan and RuPaul's Drag Race UK contestants Bimini Bon-Boulash and Charity Kase when they performed in Madrid.[11][12]
- Months before her run on Drag Race España, Shani was invited by the Ministry of Equality of Spain to deliver a speech on Romani representation in the Spanish drag scene, on the occasion of the International Drag Day 2024.
