Symone is the stage name of Reginald Gavin,[1][2] a drag queen based in Los Angeles, California, and the winner of Season 13 of RuPaul's Drag Race.

Drag Name Origin

She had a bunch of drag names picked out like "Delilah Alamein" and "Erica" but Symone was the one that stuck.

  • Symone is Gigi Goode's drag sister.
    • They both have close ties with the House of Avalon as she is a member while Gigi is a very close sister to the House.
      • The House of Avalon was also often mentioned throughout the show and how Symone stated that she's proud to be part of it.
    • For her promo look, Symone wore a wig that was styled for her by Gigi Goode.
      • Additionally, most of the wigs that she wore during the show were made by Gigi.
  • Symone is a huge fan of the Harry Potter series, with her Hogwarts house being Gryffindor, and her favorite character being Bellatrix Lestrange.
    • She also has a collection of Harry Potter replica wands.
  • In 2019, Symone appeared as a cameo on the intro of Episode 4 of season 3 of The Boulet Brothers' Dragula.

  • On the 10th June 2021, Symone lip synced against Gottmik to Sissy That Walk in a lip sync rematch, which went viral on YouTube when it was released. However, it was an unofficial lip sync and they both won “chicken and waffles”.
    • On the 11th of July 2021, Symone hit 1 million followers on Instagram.
