Synthia Kiss is a Canadian drag performer and one of the contestants of the second season of Canada's Drag Race.

Drag Name Origin[]

Synthia came up with her drag name when lying in bed one night. She liked the idea of spelling Synthia with an S because it reminded her of "synthesiser", "syntho pop" and "synthetic" like a Barbie doll, and Kiss because "muah". She thought the sound was appealing and said she could picture a brand with it.[5]

  • Synthia Kiss is the second contestant in the Drag Race franchise to be named "Synthia/Cynthia", after Cynthia Lee Fontaine from the eighth and ninth seasons of RuPaul's Drag Race.
  • Synthia's favorite song to lip-sync to is "Look At Me" by Geri Halliwell.[6]
  • Synthia had been doing drag for five years prior to competing on Canada's Drag Race.[7]
    • However, the latter two years were spent as a break from drag with competing on the show being her first time performing in drag since her break.[7]
  • Synthia is part of Vancouver drag trio BRATPACK with Gia Metric and Kendall Gender.[8]
  • Synthia is the second queen to portray Rachel Zoe on the Snatch Game, the first being Laganja Estranja.
