Memorable Quotes

(In the Meet The Queens)
  • "Yo he sido limpiadora, he sido de mantenimiento, he sido de logística, he sido recepcionista. Tengo más trabajo que la Barbie. Yo siempre, siempre, siempre estoy dispuesta a pegarme una risa y a trabajar. La que vale, vale, cariño. " (In the Meet The Queens)
(In the Meet The Queens)
  • "¿Qué pasa, maricones? He traído chicharrones." (entrance quote)
¿A ti te parece normal? (exit quote)

(entrance quote)
  • "Yo estoy teniendo un flashback de Vietnam." (after potentially being in the bottom again in Episode 1)
(after placing in the top in Episode 4)

Trivia

  • Her RuVeal look is inspired by the ocean and sea waves, and it features fish on the sleeves, all representing the bay of Cádiz.[4]
  • She is the third contestant to bring food on her Werk Room entrance after Mimi Imfurst and Silky Nutmeg Ganache.
    • Coincidentally both Silky and The Macarena were the 10th to enter in the Werk Room.
    • Also coincidentally, both Mimi and The Macarena placed last in at least one of their seasons.
    • She brought chicharrones (fried pork rinds) and hummus as a vegan option.
  • Being the first eliminated contestant of Drag Race España, Macarena joins the group of the Porkchop Queens, the contestants who are the first to be eliminated in an entire franchise.
  • She is Samantha Ballentines' drag daughter.[5]
  • The Macarena is, alongside Pupi Poisson, the only queen to have appeared on three seasons of Drag Race España, as a contestant on seasons 1 and 3, and as a guest on season 2.
  • The Macarena is the first returning contestant of the entire Drag Race franchise not to return on the immediate season following their original one.
  • Interestingly, both times she competed, Macarena was eliminated with a song by Mónica Naranjo.
  • Her back ups for Snatch Game were Sara Montiel and Isabel Pantoja.[6]
  • The Macarena is the third returning contestant in the Drag Race franchise to achieve the same placement on both seasons, after Cynthia Lee Fontaine and Veronica Green.
    • Coincidentally, both Cynthia and The Macarena placed 10th on each of their seasons, being eliminated during Snatch Game on their second seasons.
    • Both Cynthia and The Macarena also competed in more episodes on their second season than their first, but ended up with the same placement as the cast of that season was larger.
      • The Macarena's placement was also pushed down by the return of Kelly Roller.
