"Even before I started doing drag I was prim and proper and my roommate used to call me Princess. When it came time to do my first show they asked me what my drag name was and I just said call me Princess. A few years later I added "The" to it. Due to the way I look it kind of takes on the juxtaposition to what the word princess really means."[4]
