Season 1 Werk Room
When the first season premiered, the work room was very basic and fairly small. There was a total of 9 workstations and tables with sewing machines. There was also a television where RuPaul first announced the start of the race.

Season 2[]
The Werk Room changed drastically from the previous season. They added doors, brick walls, bigger workstations and more tables with sewing machines. The room was also expanded. The biggest change was the color and of course the design. The aesthetic became pink and black/white, as opposed to the previous orange and white.

Season 13[]
The Werk Room got a complete overhaul due to the Covid-19 Pandemic. It got an expansion, with there being more mirrors at the wall and more space. The floor also received a change, with it now having different coloured rectangles heading towards the center. The television is now bigger and has moved from one of the pillars to one of the walls, with it switching between RuPaul's announcements and RuPaul's Promo for All Stars 5. Two strips of lights have also been added to each side of the entrance. Also, they added a Stage used for Mini Challenges and during Untucked there are mirrors and chairs.

- Shangela on Season 3 was hidden in a box wheeled in by the Pit Crew, decorated with a bow on-top. She preceded to burst out of the box, unveiling herself to the queens as a returning contestant.
- Cynthia Lee Fontaine on Season 9; RuPaul announced she was going to bring in a 14th queen at the end of the premiere, and Cynthia walked onto the stage before the episode finished. At the beginning of Episode 2, the scene continues, with Cynthia unveiling herself to the screen.
- Season 6, Season 12, Season 14, Season 15, and Season 16 all split their cast in two groups, and each queen entered with their designated group.
- Every queen in Season 13 only walked in with one other person. This is because of the Lip-Sync premiere that forced queens to battle with each other in a lip-sync right away.
