Season 1 of Fandom's Next Drag was announced on the Discussions page on November 4th 2020 with auditions opening the same day. It was announced that 10 contestants will compete for the title of Fandom's Next Drag with the cast being revealed 18th November 2020.

The season was originally due to air from 8th December 2020 but aired early from 25th November 2020 to 2nd December 2020.

The winner of Season 1 was Scarlett Velvet with Ombreanna placing as 2nd runner-up.

On February 19, 2021, it was announced that Arsinoe, Genie, Ivana Kiki & Nikky Fox would return to Redemption 1.

FANDOM'S NEXT DRAG is a brand new Fan Race that is hosted by Camillaron ( @Cjxx04 ) with recurring judges Beth the Cool Mum ( @Lace2000 ) , Poison Six ( @Poison Six ) , Orangiá Peel ( @Theorangepeel ) and Dee Pression ( @Griffh13 ). The combination of some iconic judges from iconic shows will help us decipher that out of 10, who is FANDOM'S NEXT DRAG.

Camillaron called for a search for 4 recurring judges for Season 1 of Fandom's Drag Race on 31st October 2020. They didn't know at the time they were going to be part of a new show and they were revealed on 4th November 2020 as casting opened for contestants.

Fandom's Next Drag uses the following scoring system as a helpful determining factor on who to crown the winner. It also uses this same scoring system to determine how each contestant scores per episode.

~ elimination method ~

Fandom's Next Drag uses an elimination process of two contestants landing in the Bottom, facing the chance of being eliminated, to which everyone in the competition will vote for who goes home. The table below displays each contestant's voting.

At the Top 3, the eliminated contestants will return to join the judges in the jury. They will cast their votes on who they think should be eliminated before Top 2 based off their jury speeches. (The jury votes can be seen at Episode 8).

Episode 8 - "CORONATION DAY"

10 contestants entered the competition and now only 3 remain. The FINAL 3 reunite with the eliminated contestants who vote one last time to eliminate someone from the Top 3 after they give their speeches leaving it to a lip-sync for the crown.
