Van Goth is a Canadian drag performer and one of the contestants of the sixth season of Canada's Drag Race.

With a Bachelor of Design in Fashion, Van Goth’s aesthetic is a whole mood that is guaranteed to turn heads and stand out in any crowd. As a Toronto Village staple, she performs multiple times a week and has performed all over the country, from Ottawa to Vancouver. Van Goth won Absolut Empire’s Ball Season 3 and is a two-time contender at Miss El Convento Rico.[5]
Drag Name Origin[]
Onstage during Episode 1, Van Goth shared that her drag name originated from an incident in which she pierced her ear with an unsterilized safety pin. A friend warned her she might lose the ear, reminding her of painter Vincent van Gogh, the famous painter who cut off part of his ear. "Van Goth" was then derived from "van Gogh."
