Vermelha Noir is a Mexican drag performer and one of the contestants on the first season of Drag Race México.
About[]
From Querétaro, Vermelha is here to prove that drag art also thrives beyond nightlife. She declares herself to be in love with Mexican culture and art. Vermelha Noir has over four years of experience in artistic makeup, performance, and character design and has been part of both national and international drag projects.[3]
Drag Name Origin[]
Her drag name originates from two languages: Vermelha is Portuguese for red, while Noir is French for black. She chose these colors as they symbolize passion and elegance, respectively, plus both of them are bold colors - all inherent characteristics of Vermelha.[4]
