Drag Race contestants who win a season are considered to be reigning from their coronation day until the next winner of the same series is crowned.
To this day, thirty-six queens have been crowned a winner under the Drag Race franchise, the first being BeBe Zahara Benet from Season 1 of RuPaul's Drag Race, crowned on March 23, 2009, and the current last being Sharonne from Season 2 of Drag Race España, crowned on June 5, 2022.

Reigning Trivia
- There are currently eleven reigning queens from ten different series:
- Miss Leona from The Switch Drag Race, since July 15, 2018
- Angele Anang from Drag Race Thailand, since April 5, 2019
- Kita Mean from RuPaul's Drag Race Down Under, since June 19, 2021
- Kylie Sonique Love from RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars, since September 2, 2021
- Vanessa Van Cartier from Drag Race Holland, since September 24, 2021
- Krystal Versace from RuPaul's Drag Race UK, since November 25, 2021
- Icesis Couture from Canada's Drag Race, since December 16, 2021
- Elecktra Bionic from Drag Race Italia, since December 23, 2021
- Blu Hydrangea from RuPaul's Drag Race vs The World, since March 8, 2022
- Willow Pill from RuPaul's Drag Race, since April 22, 2022
- Sharonne from Drag Race España, since June 5, 2022
- Chad Michaels has had the longest reign out of all winners of the Drag Race franchise (1,453 days).
- Bob The Drag Queen has had the longest reign out of all original series winners (403 days).
- Lawrence Chaney has had the shortest reign out of all winners of the Drag Race franchise (252 days).
- Jaida Essence Hall has had the shortest reign out of all original series winners (329 days).
- Natalia Pliacam and Yvie Oddly are the only winners to have reigned exactly for a year (365 days).
- Tyra Sanchez and Symone have reigned only a day fewer (364 days).
- Even though Yvie reigned exactly for a year, she did not pass on the crown on the same day that she was crowned the year before (May 30) because of 2020 being a leap year.
- BeBe Zahara Benet, Tyra Sanchez and Raja are the only winners to not have had another winner reign at the same time.
- Monét X Change and Trinity The Tuck are the only winners to have been crowned simultaneously and to have passed on the crown simultaneously.
- Their reign marks the only span when there were more reigning queens than running series (February 15, 2019 until July 2, 2020) from their coronation up until Season 1 of Canada's Drag Race started airing.
- Natalia Pliacam and Angele Anang are the only pair of winners to have been crowned on the same date (April 5) of two different years.
- Two pairs of winners that competed on the same original season have once reigned at the same time:
- Chad Michaels and Sharon Needles, from November 26, 2012 until May 6, 2013.
- Aquaria and Monét X Change, from February 15, 2019 until May 30, 2019.
- Five pairs of winners have reigned the same amount of time:
- Tyra Sanchez and Symone (364 days)
- Natalia Pliacam and Yvie Oddly (365 days)
- Raja and Sharon Needles (371 days)
- Jinkx Monsoon and Bianca Del Rio (378 days)
- Monét X Change and Trinity The Tuck (525 days)
- Season 9 is the season in which the most destined winners competed, with three (Sasha Velour, Shea Couleé and Trinity The Tuck).
- Coincidentally, they were all finalists in that season.
Winners Trivia
- Without considering All Stars 7, five pairs and one trio of winners have lip synced, then unknowingly, against another destined winner:
- Chad Michaels and Sharon Needles, along with their fellow finalist Phi Phi O'Hara, lip synced against each other in Season 4.
- Jinkx Monsoon and Alaska, alongside their fellow finalist Roxxxy Andrews, lip synced against each other in Season 5.
- Sasha Velour, Shea Couleé and Trinity The Tuck, alongside their fellow finalist Peppermint, lip synced against each other in Season 9.
- Sasha Velour also won over Shea Couleé in the first round of the Season 9 finale.
- BeBe Zahara Benet and Trixie Mattel lip synced for their legacy against each other on All Stars 3.
- Monét X Change and Trinity The Tuck both won the Lip sync for the crown in the All Stars 4 finale.
- Angele Anang, Kylie Sonique Love, Vanessa Van Cartier, and Willow Pill are the only openly trans Drag Race winners.
- Bianca Del Rio, Envy Peru and Elecktra Bionic are the only winners to have never received generally negative critiques from the judges.
- However, this was also accomplished by runners-up Scarlett BoBo in Season 1 of Canada's Drag Race, Ella Vaday and Kitty Scott-Claus in Season 3 of RuPaul's Drag Race UK and Farida Kant in Season 1 of Drag Race Italia.
- Coincidentally, every winner who won over these runners-up had a worse track record than them.
- This is without considering disqualified, quitting or withdrawn contestants such as Eureka on Season 9, BenDeLaCreme on All Stars 3, Victoria Scone on Series 3 of RuPaul's Drag Race UK and Enorma Jean on Season 1 of Drag Race Italia, who never received negative critiques, but whose Drag Race journey was cut short.
- Monét X Change and Blu Hydrangea are the only winners to have once been crowned Miss Congeniality.
- Interestingly, never has a contestant been crowned winner and Miss Congeniality on the same season.
- Jujubee is statistically the Drag Race contestant that came closest to join the winner circle, making it as a finalist in four separate seasons.
- She placed 3rd in Season 2, 3rd/4th in All Stars 1, 2nd/3rd in All Stars 5 and 3rd/4th on RuPaul's Drag Race UK vs The World.
- Angele Anang is the Drag Race winner who won the most Main Challenges in her winning season, with five.
- This was also accomplished by BenDeLaCreme in All Stars 3, but she did not go on to win the season.
- Elecktra Bionic is the only Drag Race winner who has never won a Main Challenge.
- Ironically, she is, across all Drag Race series, the contestant who won the most Mini Challenges in a single season, with four.
- Krystal Versace and Elecktra Bionic are the only winners who share their first name with two other contestants (Crystal and Crystal Methyd, and Elektra Shock and Elektra Fence respectively).
- Coincidentally, they were both the third with those names to appear on Drag Race.
- The RuPaul's Drag Race Holi-Slay Spectacular spin-off had eight queens crowned as "Drag Race Christmas Queens": Eureka, Jasmine Masters, Kim Chi, Latrice Royale, Mayhem Miller, Shangela, Sonique and Trixie Mattel.
- This makes Trixie Mattel and Kylie Sonique Love the only Drag Race contestants to hold two Drag Race winner titles, soon to be joined by the winner of All Stars 7.
- Coincidentally, Trixie and Kylie are both All Stars winners and were both eliminated fourth in their original seasons.
- This makes Trixie Mattel and Kylie Sonique Love the only Drag Race contestants to hold two Drag Race winner titles, soon to be joined by the winner of All Stars 7.
- All Stars 7 is the only season whose cast is made up entirely of winners, making it the season with the most winners competing against another/other winners.
